I'd never thought I'd see the day that I'll be on their shoes.
Hell, I was ready to give up but it hit me awhile ago.
But now I'm giving up this quickly? I decided to give our marriage one more shot and said to myself: I can do it! I can save my marriage today.
They're probably the two most important things a relationship can have to stay afloat amidst the clouds of challenges that come and go.
I pretty much believe that these two will help me save my marriage today and so should you if you are currently having some marital problems like I do.
What can they do to salvage their aching relationship?
That's what I did and I realized that despite what happened I still have some feelings for my partner and that I want to make the marriage work again.
Aside from that love for myself and for my partner, the one thing that fuels my faith and confidence that my partner and I can rebuild this broken marriage is my love for our kids.
When I think of my children who are barely in their teens and my overwhelming love for them, I can't help but feel guilty and feel ashamed of myself.
When I took that vow at the day of my wedding, I realized that I had also promised these innocent kids a great family and ending the marriage is turning away from that promise.
If there were no children involved, this would be an easy decision.
Sometimes we get so fed up with married life, taking care of the kids, career and a lot of things that we forget to try and put ourselves in other's shoes and see through their eyes.
No wonder this relationship is heading south but it's not yet too late.
