The tour itself operates from Bourgas, the airport of which is served from more than 20 airports in the UK with regular flights.


The tour starts on Monday, with the arrival at Bourgas airport, if you arrive by plane that day.


The itinerary for next day is Nessebar and Varna.
Later that day the trip carries on to Varna for a short sightseeing trip, visiting the "House of Wine" which boasts a selection of the best Bulgarian wines including "Melnik" & "Gamza" brands.
Dinner is served and planned overnight in Varna.


On Wednesday a longer journey begins, departing first for he Madara horseman - a UNESCO site close to the town of Shoumen.
Then follows a visit Lyaskovets - this is one of the largest wineries in Bulgaria.
After wine tasting, the journey continues to Veliko Tarnovo - the former Bulgarian capital.
Here you can enjoy a visit to the famous fortress \"Tsarevets \".
The overnight stay and the dinner are provided in the Wine Palace hotel in the nearby village of Arbanassi.
There will be a visit to the "Kazanlak tomb" - listed in the UNESCO and taste some of the Rose products.
In the afternoon, enjoy a wine-tasting visit at the "Royal Cellar" in the small town of Banya.


The 5th day is Friday, we start with a morning sightseeing trip in the town of Plovdiv including the Old town and Amphitheatre.
In the evening, wine tasting and gourmet dinner held in the nearby village of Brestovitsa.
The night will be to Plovdiv.


On the sixth day we head to Perperikon.
Enroute visit the temple of the Greek god of wine - Dionysus.
In the afternoon there will be a visit to "Haskovo" vineyard where southern Bulgarian wines are produced.
Dinner is served and overnight stay is planned, in Haskovo.


Sunday morning, the wine region between Sliven and Karnobat will be visited, where the "Slavyantsi" vineyard is based.


On Monday the transfer will take you back to the airport of Bourgas for your return flight to the UK.
One way or the other, your Wine Tour to Bulgaria will be an experience of a lifetime.
