Just as Jesus commanded his disciples to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, he expects the same from us.
But how do you seek God in this way? Where can we find information on how to do this? Well, the Bible provides us with such instruction.
In fact, he says: \"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not recognize on your own understanding In all your ways him and he will direct thy paths.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
But where can we find God's answers to us? Again, by looking to the Bible we will find an answer.
" (2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV)
You see, however God's Word tells us how to live is how we must live if we are going to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.
God has given us the answers; but it is up to us to go to the medium that He has created to find them.
Many people feel that their faith is going down, not up.
And they just can't seem to understand why? But my question for them is how much time are they actually spending in the Bible, and do they read it on a daily basis? Truth is; many Christians spend very little time reading the Bible, which is why their faith is not as strong as it ought to be.
Note that the Bible says that is \"hearing from the faith, el hearing by the Word of God.
" (Romans 10:17 NKJV) So if we want to hear what God has to say to us then we need to spend quality time reading the Bible.
Because that is where faith built on.
So the next time you feel that you aren't where you ought to be then it would be best to go to the place where you can be sure to know that you will receive instructions from God on how you ought to live your life.
And that is what matters most anyway! Therefore, don't be a stranger to the Bible; rather, read it daily and grow in the understanding that God desires to give you through it.
