Vaginal yeast infections also known as vaginal candidiasis is the most common type of a yeast infection and is one of the top 3 vaginal infections that affect women during their lifetime.

It is important to note that not every woman with this type of vaginal infection will show any symptoms and a conclusive diagnosis of whether you have a yeast infection or not even for those showing some of the above symptoms, is through a doctor's test performed on the discharge or a testing of the environment of the vagina.
These can be in the form of gels, creams, pills, lotions, vaginal suppositories, etc.
