Viral advertising has been defined many ways but the bottom line is this.
Within a matter of minutes the information is spreading over the internet and is being watched or read by millions.
What happens is that someone writes a funny joke that is clean and unique, then sends it to as many friends they have in their inbox.

AOL and HotMail were able to create millions of Free email accounts using this idea.
WOW! I wonder how many billions of dollars are made each day with this idea.
Guess what? It worked.
Today emails can be just as viral as they were 10 years ago.
It's no wonder that Youtube is one of the most popular sites on the internet.
and away it goes! Videos can be tracked as to how many times they are watched and you can see for yourself that a video can jump from only a couple of views, to hundreds of thousands in a very short period of time.
How you ask? Well, most people put those video's on sites that host them, like YouTube.
Just like AOL and everyone else, they are providing a free tool or service that focuses on people going to their site.
Lets start with email.
What this means is under your name, there should be a link to your website.
