Dealing with deletion of Pay-Per-Click ads can be very irritating at times. The bad thing about it, many people are not aware of the exact reasons as to why their advertisements have been declined or removed. For the most part, the top reason is because the ad did not meet the network’s standards or your web site isn’t suitable.

If you have done your homework, you should know that sites such as MSN/Bing, Yahoo, and Google have rigorous guidelines in regards to what web page or website your ads can link to. The following is a list of ways to have your ad campaign declined or removed from the top Pay-Per-Click networks:

• The ad promises information and content that isn’t on your website.
• Your website does not function properly in Internet Explorer.
• The ad does not give details about the product you’re selling nor does it explain that it can only be shipped to a very limited area.
• A password is required for your website.
• Your site includes multilevel marketing.
• Your ad includes contact information, such as phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
• Your site generates a pop-up window when the visitor arrives.
• You do not have ownership of the page in which you are linking to.
• Your specific ad contains offensive, abusive, or threatening language.
• Your websites content does not match the ad.
• Your auction site bids on terms related to products not currently on sale at the site.
• The landing page specified in your ad doesn’t contain content related to that product on your website.

It is best to check your ads carefully before submitting them. Editors may alter certain content without your permission, sometimes turning your original information into something significantly different.
